Starter and Pro each cover 1 location and one channel: your Instagram DMs or your website chat. Starter answers 100 conversations a month. Pro has no monthly limit under fair use, and you can add the second channel for $49 a month. Growth covers up to 3 locations and includes both channels. For 4 or more locations, talk to us about Custom.

Instagram DMs continue on your website chat on Pro with the second channel, on Growth and on Custom: a customer who taps a link to your website in a DM keeps the same conversation there. It is not part of Starter.

- We set your rules, so you decide what DM DESK answers and what comes to you.
- For restaurants and Shopify stores, we run a test order or cart together.
- We check everything with you before it answers customers.
No commission.
DM DESK takes no commission on your orders, on any plan, and there is no fee per order. The money goes straight to you.
Payments stay on your own checkout. DM DESK never processes card payments.
Questions owners ask.
What counts as a conversation?
One customer chatting with your agent within 24 hours is one conversation, however many messages they send. It counts once your agent writes an answer. If the same customer writes again after those 24 hours, a new conversation starts.
What happens when I reach 100 conversations on Starter?
Your agent answers 100 conversations a month in full. From the next one, it stops writing answers. The customer gets a short message that their message is being passed to your team, and a first reply also says it is an automated assistant. You get an alert and the conversation waits in your Inbox for your reply. We warn you at 80. Your count starts over on the 1st of each month, in your business's time zone. To keep your agent answering, move to Pro from Billing.
Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes, from your Billing page. If the new plan costs more, you are charged the difference that day, after a credit for the time you have not used on your current plan. If it costs less, the unused amount becomes a credit that comes off your next payment. Billing shows the exact amount before you confirm. Nothing is refunded to your card. To move to a smaller plan, first remove any locations or channels it does not cover.
How does the second channel work?
A channel is where your agent answers: your Instagram DMs or the chat on your website. Starter and Pro include one channel. On Pro you can add the second for $49 a month, or $39 a month billed annually, when you sign up or later from Billing. Growth and Custom include both. With both channels connected, a customer who taps a link to your website in an Instagram DM continues the same conversation in your website chat: on Pro with the second channel, and on Growth and Custom. On Starter you can change which channel you use once per billing period, or once a month on annual billing.
Will my site show DM DESK branding?
On Starter, your website chat always shows a small "Powered by DM DESK" credit. On Pro and Growth it shows unless you turn it off on your Channels page. On Custom it is off unless you turn it on.
Does DM DESK take a cut of my orders?
No. There is no commission on any plan, and the money goes straight to you. Payments stay on your own checkout. DM DESK never processes card payments.
