Steps

  1. In DM DESK, open Channels. Under Website chat, open Paste the code yourself and click Copy code.
  2. Square Online (Free, Plus and Premium): in Square, go to Channels, then Square Online, then Settings, then Tracking Tools. Click Add new code, paste the line, choose head and Save. Then publish your site from the site editor.
  3. Wix: in your site's dashboard, go to Settings, then Custom Code under Development & integrations, and click + Add Custom Code. Paste the line, choose All pages and Head, then Apply. Your site must be published and have a connected domain.
  4. Squarespace (Core, Plus or Advanced): open Code Injection and paste the line in the Header box, then save.
  5. Open your site and check that the chat button shows. In DM DESK, Channels then says Widget seen on, with your site.

Square Online, Wix and Squarespace each have a box for custom code. Start in DM DESK, on Channels.

Under Website chat, open Paste the code yourself.

Copy code copies the one line your site needs.

On Square Online, open Settings, then Tracking Tools, and click Add new code. Paste it, choose head, save, and publish your site.

On Wix, open Settings, then Custom Code, and add it to the head of all pages. Your site must be published, with a connected domain.

On Squarespace, paste it in Code Injection, in the Header box. Code Injection comes with the Core, Plus and Advanced plans.

Then open your site and check the chat button. Once the chat loads there, Channels says Widget seen on, with your site.
